    I have a 2015 Roku 2 and a brand new Roku Express. On the Roku Express, when attempting to watch Fox News on the TWC app, I get frequent black screens (with audio still playing) and Error P707. I then have to click the back button and let the stream restart, or restart the Roku. This occurs every 15 minutes or so. I have power cycled the cable modem and the router, which is a current TP-Link model. I have un/re installed the TWC app and power cycled the Roku. All other Roku apps work flawlessly. Is anything being done to fix this behavior? As it is, it's too annoying to use. Thanks.

  • 10/12/16--11:30: channels missing (1-100)
  • Ok so now all of a sudden channels 1-100 (and more of the higher channels) are missing from my rokus.  This is how I watch television in most rooms other than the living room so this is a huge problem.  Please tell me what I need to do to get these channels working again.  I have already removed and reinstalled app and restarted my internet.

  • Why do I keep getting a P700 error on the TWC tv app for roku.  Netflix and Amazon work fine on my roku but I have constant problems with my TWC Tv app.  Please help.

  • We have only had this service for about a month. The app worked for 1.5 weeks and hasn't worked since. We spoke to customer service and they said unload it, load it, login, load the other app etc. needless to say this app doesn't work on any cell phone, tablet or roku tv in our house. It's only been a month and I'm already regretting my decision to switch. Fix the app for those of us who pay a lot for the service and want to use the streaming instead of the cable box!

    I try to login to twc app on my roku and i get a message say

     I am not on my home modem ????? i am on my approved home modem this started about 2 weeks ago . nothing has changed on my end same modem i have had for the past year.?


    I rebooted my modem my router and my Roku, deleted app and reinstalled none of these worked. call TWC they claim its Roku but all other apps work on my roku.

    I've been told that when I switch to Spectrum, DTAs will no longer be available and I need a full set-top box for every TV. This isn't practical for a couple of my TVs - in particular one wall-mounted on the patio. The TW rep I was visiting with suggested Roku as one possible workaround.


    How do you get the TW/Spectrum channels entered into the Roku system? The Roku guy tells me I have to manually enter every channel. Not that I really watch 100s of channels, but still...


    Is there a channel guide? Can I see what is showing on a particular channel at a given time, possibly in the future?


    I don't think I can go directly to a specific channel number like with the set-top box. Is there anything like a "previous channel" button so I can easily flip back and forth?


    I'd just like to hear experiences from people who have tried it... reiiability, usability, etc.

  • I have the Roku streaming sticks 3500 and 3600-X and they both have the same issue that channel 12 (ABC HD) does not broadcast in HD, it appears to be a stretched 480p version, it is blurry.  I am in Eastern NC.

    I have one cable box in the house and the ABC channel is in true HD.  Does anyone else have this issue, all the other channels are fine on my Roku sticks.

    I want to set up these two players I just bought, but not being very familiar with doing this type of thing, I have apprehensions.  Its it easy?  How will my TV service compare to using TWC's boxes that I want to return.

    Both iOS and Roku apps telling me I need to have the 'Starter TV' level of service to use the app.  According to my account, I have Standard TV and Starter TV options.  This has been working for years.


    This just started this morning.  Is it a system-wide issue in Albany, NY area or what?

    During the election I wanted to add the CNN Application to my Roku, and as expected, I was presented an activation code on my Roku and asked to log into a web site using my computer to authenticate (in this case, the web site is The web site asked for my provider, and since Time Warner Cable is no longer listed I selected Charter/Spectrum. This takes me automatically to the Charter authentication page, where my TWC login information doesn't work. If it matters, I'm a NYC subscriber.


    Could you please add the Time Warner Cable login information to the Charter/Spectrum database so that Roku applications can be authenticated.


    (And yes, I know that I can just watch CNN using the TWCTV Roku app, which is what I did, but the authentication problem is more significant than just this example).


    If I did something wrong, or there's temporary workaround, please let me know.

  • I had to sign back into TWC yesterday which is quite unusual but since after watching for 5-15 minutes the app freezes. Any ideas?

    I also have TWC, and have been having the following issue with ROKU. This is a new Roku express just received. I originally had a Roku stick, and thought that stick was the problem.


    It seems that i'm not able to connect to national TV stations, but channels like CNN are working. The error message reads:

    Service Unavailable

    We're sorry but this channel is currently unavailable. We are working to restore service as soon as possible. Now, my Roku base unit is working fine on another TV.

    I get less than half of the channels listed as available on the TWCTV app at .


    The app is missing channels ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox, CW, CMT Music, Ion, MeTV, (All) Music Choice, RetroTV, just to name a few.


    I've spent hours on the phone with tech support and had 2 service calls, one of which resulted in the tech disconnecting my modem/router and installing a TWC-owned modem/router, which seems to be costing me ~$15/mo, even though I never had any other internet trouble except with the TWCTV app!


    I did spend another hour+ talking to tech support last night, which FINALLY resulted in a ticket # and a promise to escellate the issue.  But who knows how long that will take, and whether or not it will result in a fix!


    This is SO frustrating, especially when I returned all of my digital adapters in favor of a Roku on each of the 4 additional TVs in our house.  Only 1 TV has a DVR cable box.

    I am having an issue with the MSG feed on your Roku app. I am located in Elmira, NY and normally recieve the WNY MSG feed on my TV. When I try to access the MSG station on the Roku it has the correct show listing on the channel guide, (example:  a Buffalo Sabres hockey game) but when I actually watch the channel it has the NYC MSG feed (example: a New York Rangers game). I have gone through the restart options with a chat online, but it did not correct the issue. I believe this is a problem on your or MSG's end with what is actually being shown on the MSG station on Roku. Like I previously stated the guide is correct, but what is being shown does not match. Any help to correct this issue is greatly appreciated!! Thank you!!
