Spectrum TV app
Spectrum is running a very aggressive ad campaign that you can watch Spectrum TV on all devices i.e. tablets, phones, computers, roku smart tv. Not so for me since 10am this morning and this has happened several times this month. My other streaming apps (Netflix, Amazon Video) work great and I get them through Spectrum internet. You would think Spectrum would make sure their app was as reliable.
ION channel missing
I get my cable tv through the Internet and Roku. I subscribe to the starter tv package which includes all the networks, QVC, WGN and until recently the Ion network. We noticed today that it is no where to be found, either on our rokus or the Spectrum app on our iPads. What happened?

Hi I just starting Tv Streaming and wondering how many devices I can stream with at once? Also, I can stream outside my area without restrictions? Thanks!

New Spectrum Wi-Fi Service
Spectrum has just installed a new wi-fi only service into our apartment (Compass Landing, Newport, NC), supposidly in place of using the existing Router. First, without a solution, it's lack of ethernet connections for my non-wifi devices (VOIP Phone, old TV's, NAS Drive, Printer) prevents me from using it, Also, the lack of being able to connect my central NAS Drive (containing all of my centralized data available to both my Desktop and Laptop), also prevents me from using the new wifi connection on my PC's Network.
Second, I am also having problems logging into the Spectrum App, via my Roku device, when I change the wifi connection from the router to the new wifi.
While continuing to view the Spectrum app through the router wifi, every 10 minutes I get an error that something has not worked right. Clicking on OK I am able to reconnect, however having it dump every 10 minutes with this message, is not very convenient. I then reconnected the wifi from the router to the new apartment wifi, which connects apps fine, except for the Spectrum App. Opening the Spectrum app under the new apartment wifi, immediately requires signing in to my Spectrum app. However, when I use the login for my account (same as used for the router), it just bounces back to the login again. I have also tried the login for the new wifi site (where I entered the MAC address for this Roku device), and it denies even knowing this login.

- Press the Close/Back arrow to open the Spectrum TV main menu.
- Select Settings to view Support details.
Preferences
Using your Roku remote:
- Press the Close/Back arrow to open the Spectrum TV main menu.
- Select Settings.
- Scroll to and select from the following Preferences:
- Press OK to select a title and begin watching.
- Audio Language (SAP): Press OK to turn SAP (secondary audio program) on or off.
- Guide Sorting: Press OK to organize your guide by Channel Number (#) or by Network Name.
- Manage Favorites: Press OK to add or remove favorite networks.
- Clear Watchlist: Press OK to delete everything you've saved to Watch Later.
- Clear Viewing History and Bookmarks: Press OK to delete information on what you've watched and bookmarked. When you stop watching an On Demand program, a Bookmark automatically saves your place.
Favorites
Mark a network as a Favorite to easily find programming in the Guide.
Using your Roku remote:
- Press the Close/Back arrow to open the Spectrum TV main menu.
- Select Settings and then choose Manage Favorites.
- Scroll to the network of your choice and then press OK to add or remove it as a favorite.

Parental Controls
Using your Roku remote:
- Press the Close/Back arrow to open the Spectrum TV main menu.
- Select Settings.
- Scroll to and select Parental Controls.
- Select one of the following four preferences and enter your PIN when prompted:Note: Parental Controls settings won't be applied unless they're turned ON. The Lock icon indicates content with that rating is restricted.
- Parental Controls: Press OK to turn Parental Controls on or off.
- Manage TV and Movie Ratings: Press OK and then use the Left or RightNavigation arrows to lock or unlock TV (e.g. TV-MA) and Movie Ratings (e.g. PG-13).
- Manage Channel Blocking: Press OK to restrict individual channel viewing.
- Reset PIN: Enter your current PIN to change your existing PIN.
About
Using your Roku remote:
- Press the Close/Back arrow to open the Spectrum TV main menu.
- Select About to learn about the Spectrum TV channel, your Roku player or TV, and the network you're connected to.
Sign Out
Using your Roku remote:
- Press the Close/Back arrow to open the Spectrum TV main menu.
- Select Sign Out and then press OK.

Having Trouble With Spectrum TV on Roku?
Follow the steps below to troubleshoot Spectrum TV on Roku:
To restart the Spectrum TV channel:
- Press Home on your Roku remote to exit the Spectrum TV channel.
- Relaunch the Spectrum TV channel.
- Still seeing an error? Reboot your Roku player by unplugging it, waiting 30 seconds, and then plugging it back in.
- Remove and re-install Spectrum TV from the Roku channel store.

Spectrum for Roku going through the endless password loop thing again
I was kicked out of my Spectrum app on Roku a couple of hours ago. Since then it's been doing the endless login loop. This is happening on multiple TVs
I've rebooted Roku, rebooted my cable router and still the same thing.
What's going on Spectrum and when will the app be back up?

Where are the local channels on the streaming service as of 6-13-18 in SE tx area?
On morning of 6-13-18 the locals channels were not on my Spectrum app (use Roku). Also other channels were moved around. What is going on?? I have a streaming package. Local channels are provided on all packages....

Constant RLP-1001 errors with Spectrum TV app
Seen other threads about this, however I haven't seen a real fix for it yet.... so I made a new post about it. Basically every 10-15 minutes of watching a channel, I get the RLP-1001 error and hit OK on the remote to make it play again... 10-15 minutes later happens again... then again, and again. It's just annoying, because I have to miss a few minutes of a show to hit OK and have the app continue to do the live feed.
Other apps don't do this on my roku, so it must be a service issue... and NOT my connectivity. Spectrum claims to having starting speeds of 100mps, but my speed test shows 24-25mps... which should be fast enough to run a live TV streaming service like my other apps that work just fine, so I'm not really concerned about my speed.
Anyone else have this problem?
Connection issues with Spectrum App
For the past couple of weeks we have had issues using Spectrum app. Whether on the Roku or on my kindle. I have called several times and it appears that there is a known issue in New York State. Now on one of my TV on the Roku when entering the spectrum app instead of connecting and showing my cable channels, it asks if I want to sign up for Spectrum Streaming at a cost of $21.99 a month. WHAT IS UP WITH THIS???? First I can no longer connect using the Ruko, now I am offered an different service at an additional charge? A co worker has a similiar issue with the Spectrum app not work and went and spent $100 on a new router thinking that would solve the problem, which it did not. What is going on???
