    I swapped my personal modem for the Spectrum modem hoping to increase speed. Big mistake. Now the spectrum app works on none of my devices: iPad, phones, roku. I factory reset my router. Wifi works fine and all other apps work, including channels on the roku that require spectrum log in. I unplugged both the modem and router to reset. I deleted and reinstalled the app. Nothing works. I called tech support and was on the phone for nearly an hour. I was told to wait 24 hours while they changed something in the backend. If that doesn’t solve the issue I would like to get my old router back online. I never had a problem before. Any suggestions appreciated.

    Every night there is a different error that randomly shows up. Half the time I have to restart the app several times to get it to work. Worst streaming service I have ever used and the On Demand is a joke.

  • As I try to get to the guide from live TV I keep getting this error. I see in this forum same thing was happening in 2017. Has this not been resolved yet? I have already uninstalled and reinstalled and unplugged Roku and plugged back in. Still getting same error.

    So I am selecting networks to be presented with the wrong television show instead. For example, I'll select Cartoon Network to watch Family Guy on Adult Swim (At 11PM) and Teen Titans Go shows up instead. Its still doing it too, it's creepy and strange, I don't have a DVR service and am simply selecting the channel on my Roku, it's in a loop as well and plays the same show over and over again. I decided to add a photo of proof of this bizarre glitch.

    Update - I have even removed the application and signed back into it, it still does this.

    Only channels 101-827 and 19xx music channels available on this fine New year's Day.  Tried previously posted solution of rebooting Roku and restarting Spectrum app (even deleted and reinstalled Spectrum app) to no effect.    Then noted  issue clearly is not specific to Roku device since channels are unavailable on ios device and pc but available on cable connection.

    I have a very odd issue with Spectrum App. Everything is updated and internet is 100 mbps. My Roku Express + , when using Composite video connection,selecting a Spectrum channel closes the Spectrum App back to Roku Home. No error messages. The channel will play, side menu comes on, but closes app when the bottom menu should appear. I connected same Roku to modern TV HDMI and all is well. Moving the Roku back to Composite connection problem returns. If I do not configure Roku for the 4:3 TV, it stays 1080i and the app WILL WORK, with a stretched picture. Reset to 4:3 problem returns. Both Rokus new and old do this. This is new problem, I used Spectrum App in past successfully.     Other apps on Roku like Netflix are good.

    Anyone else? Ohio here. Spoke to tech support. Said there was an issue. Just checking how widespread it is?

    Everything I try to access on, on demand on my Spectrum tv app on my Roku does not work. I tried 2 Roku tv's I have. I've logged out, removed and installed the channel logged back in and still nothing. It works in my phone at home on my Wi-Fi but that's it. Can't watch on tv!

    For the past two days, when I make an On Demand selection from the Spectrum App on my Roku Stick, the selection spins non stop and does not connect. I have checked the signal which is excellent  and have reset the signal and nothing improves. 

     

    When I use the On Demand selection from the Spectrum Remote the selection connects without any delay. 

     

    There are some features that I prefer to use on the Roku Remote, so I'd like to know how to connect to my selection on Roku's Spectrum App.

  • Starting a couple of days ago, when switching to FS1 (ch 33), all that shows up is a golf program.  It starts at the exact same spot each time and then after a couple of minutes, buffers and then freezes. All other networks play as the should--for the most part.  Switching back to ch 33 and the same golf video appears and then freezes--like Groundhog Day!  I've placed two calls into tech support and they cannot solve the problem.  The Spectrum app has been acting a little flaky as of late as well.  On several channels, the video will buffer for a few seconds and then resume. Sometimes, the video will do a quick "rewind" and repeat the previous 3 or 4 seconds.

     

    I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the Spectrum app and resetting the modem, but that's not helped. Wondering if anyone in the Columbus, Ohio area is having the same problem.

    If I hit power button on TV can it go directly to live tv on spectrum app or home screen?

  • My Roku is connected to the internet, able to access Netflix and other apps, however when the Spectrum app is requiring the log in it says to make sure we’re connected to the internet.

  • We have the tv streaming service and no local channels working today. Reset the router and roku. iOS app is not displaying local channels either. Did chat with Spectrum over twc app and they said engineers aware. I’m just about done with spectrums tv app service. Anyone else having this issue? I don’t see it posted anywhere on the problem.
