  • Same error message reported by others. Can't connect to spectrum in my Roku or the app. Will you resolve it or should I return your equipment and find another provider. Closing a complaint isn't solving the issue. The more people see that you think it's an appropriate response the less they will trust your service. You will lose many customers and will deter so many from trying you.

  • I am really tired of SPectrum not taking responsibility for fixing this problem...after going through Spectrum tech help, they passed me to another Spectrum division that turned out to be the wrong one for the technical assistance.  Finally told it wasnt Spectrum issue because I did have the internet and because i had my own Netgear box and Roku, i had to call them.

    I spent more than 4  hours last night with a foreign tech 'expert' for Netgear that wouldnt help me unless i signed up for  $165 plan for 1 year Netgear assistance. I finally hung up on her.  I went on Roku and found I could look at numerous other channels that stream.

    I am so sick of Time warner/spectrum, if there was another provider, i would switch.

    Spectrum people you need to know your job, and at the very least tell us, the customers, that it is your problem...all your tech help needs to know this immediately, and also inform customers that they still have the other streaming apps on Roku at the very least.

    Spectrum also should email, text or otherwise let customers know they have lost Spectrum streaming immediately, so we dont have to call in the problem.....SPectrum should also let us know when system problems are fixed.

    I am sick and tired of continually entering and reentering my username and password, like it had changed withing the last 10 seconds i entered it and got th error RLC-1000....What is up with that?  Change this....................................................................

    Spectrum, You folks need to improve the management of customers’ expectations! 

    You’ve identified an issue with the Spectrum Application on all platforms and now you need to let you customers know WHEN it MIGHT be fixed. Is it hours, days, weeks… etc.?

    I just got off the phone with a Technician and she suggested it may take another 24 hours or so.  This helps me as well as other customers manage the time we spend attempting to see if it’s fixed.  She also said she would try and post the ETA along with any updates.  So in 24 hours I will check back in with the expectation that Spectrum will either have it fixed or they have posted an update to their ETA.  The worst thing they can do is continue not to manage their customers’ expectations! PLEASE help us help you by providing an ETA!  This will also take the burden off the call center by reducing the number of redundent calls! 

    Please try harder!

    Your app has never been reliable but now it's completely down and the only answer we have is that it's a known problem. Fix it! Marking all the threads as solved is you just ignoring them. One of your selling point was the app. I'm not getting what I'm paying for! Will you provide refund for down time? Of course you won't. Direct TV and Sling both have free week trial, so I suggest people try these services out.

    I am out of town and hooked up my Roku. When I try to log into the app. I am being told by the app. To go to Charter.net/ login to retrieve my username and password. I'm not on Charter and never have been. I've always been on Time Warner so why am I getting this error? This merger had been a complete (edited)

    The new Spectrum TV app is available on all Roku streaming devices (excluding 1st generation Roku). The Spectrum TV app for Roku is available to customers who subscribe to any Spectrum TV and Internet plan at no additional cost. Your subscription level determines the channels you’re able to access.

  • 07/27/17--15:36: Horrible pixelation!
  • For the past week or so I've been experincing really bad pixelation using the Time Warner Spectrum app on Roku.

     

    I've restarted the app, rebooted, etc.  And while the pixelation goes away, it keeps returning.

     

    Why is this happening?  Please fix!

    Roku connection timed out and get a RLP-1004 error 
     

    Today, I started having trouble with my Spectrum app saying the connection has timed out everytime I try to use it.  I restarted my Roku.  I removed the app and reinstall it but I still get the connection has timed out.  The message comes up when I enter the app.

    Any suggestions would be apprecitated.

    Up until 2 days ago, we were able to watch channels such as Food Network and HGTV on our Roku's with no problem. At the time we had the "starter package" from Spectrum.  Yesterday, it appears that these apps have a new, more attractive interface on Roku, however they suddenly stopped working when we attempted to watch anything. 

     

    I called Spectrum today and they put me on new plan that specifically includes those channels, however I STILL get an unauthorized error trying to watch those channels on Roku. 

     

    Error 60.002

    You are not authorized to view this video. Please check your subscription or parental guide settings. 

     

    We have never set any kind of parental guide settings, and certainly did not set any within the past 48 hours. 

     

    Is anyone else experiencing this? Any solutions? These two channels are pretty much all we watch.

    I have been interacting with @AskSpectrum for almost 3 years on this SAME problem.  The stream does not stay active.  It happens on both of my sticks, but not my wired Roku 3.  

     

    I have had countless tech's out that ALL agree it is the app.   They even have said, my Roku does the same thing.  Please fix it.

    It is frustrating that I have Apple TVs and Smart TVs that work great but have no way to connect my cable subscription to them without buying a Roku or running a line and renting another cable box.  Will the Roku exclusive agreement end soon.  I am thinking of switching carriers to one that are supported by Apple's Single Sign On and iOS TV Provider.  It seems like the Roku technology is lagging behind.

  • At least once a week the stupid emergency alert test comes on late at night and wakes up my wife and or myself since the volumn is dramically louder then the channel I am watching.

    1. Is there any way to keep the alerts at the same volumn?
    2. If not, do they go off at all(or louder?) on the roku app.

    Beyond pissed that his keeps happening unless there is a fix for this, I will be at a minimum, removing a cable box from my account.

  • Our cable is not working on one of the boxes in our home. We have been using the Spectrum app but now it won't work. So I'm trying to get the cable box to work and I'm getting that message "Not Tunable"
